I know, I know… another food post, you ask? We are pretty big *foodies* and *fatties* ….so, what do you expect? Plus, we couldn’t pass an opportunity to tell you about one of the best markets in London. We present to you, the Borough Market.

Walk-a-bouts in London

We spent 10 days in London and we made the best of them.

Despite rainy days on and off, we left Ed’s flat with a mission each morning. Often, plans changed ad hoc, but we still managed to accomplish everything we wanted. Covent Garden, Big Ben, London Eye, Borough Market, Chinatown, Leicester Square, Piccadilly, Somerset House, National History Museum, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Soho and Chiswick to name a few.

Unfortunately, Ed was required to work during the week, leaving us to find adventure on our own during the day. How dare he work and make a living! The nerve! 🙂

We bought an oyster card for the tube, and off we went…’Please Mind the Gap.’

Our Top 5 Meals… (to date)

One of the greatest privileges of our trip has been the opportunity to eat a variety of delicious food. Most might claim eating tasty new food is one of the best (if not THE best) benefits of travel. Well, trust us. We’re doing our best to live up to the claim.

Dining out is always fun, but most the meals we’ve selected for this coveted glory are those which have been cooked and prepared at home. We’ve sampled English and Irish classic cuisine, both esteemed for their respective, belly-warming qualities. After much consideration and discussion (and consumption), we’ve decided to rank our top 5 meals, to date.
